THE TEAM

John Wales (Director): John is a travel trade and tourism expert with unrivalled experience, contacts and success over the last 30+ years. In 2000 he co-founded Encore Tickets with Ashley Herman running the company as CEO for almost 20 years. He is a past Chairman of the Coach Operator Tourism Association an ex-board member of UK Inbound, and a committee member of ETOA. His strength is long-standing relationships across the industry segments combined with understanding the client's and supplier needs to enable innovative solutions to develop incremental sales for London's West End. He has won awards from both The Guild of Travel & Tourism and UK Inbound for Outstanding Contributions to Tourism,

Sean Sweeney (Managing Director) - Sean has worked in the commercial theatre sector since 1994, with experience across ticketing, production and general management. He has produced and/or general-managed more than 30 shows and exhibitions in London and on UK tours, as well as working in venue management and ownership. In 2001, Sean was part of the founding team at Encore Tickets, where he oversaw the business’s operations, affiliate and programming activity, and supplier relationships. After leaving Encore in 2009, Sean combined his role as Managing Partner at Charing Cross Theatre with a busy ticketing consultancy practice.
Sean is also a Council Director of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.

Matt Coulter (Director of Sales) - Matt has over 10 years’ experience working across various sectors of the tourism and hospitality industries, operating in multiple countries during this time. His career has taken him across Spain, South America, Eastern Europe and India.Most recently,
Matt was a core member of the Historic Royal Palaces team. Headquartered at the Tower of London, he was responsible for travel trade sales across six Royal Palaces. Previous roles have also seen him support the launch of Bustronome and manage operations across two hotels.
